In H\u00f6hen von 18 bis 30 km werden Aerosole, also kleinste Teilchen in die Atmosph\u00e4re ausgebracht. Diese sollen die einfallende <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=442\">Sonnenstrahlung<\/a> zu einem Teil wieder in den Weltraum reflektieren. F\u00fcr das Ausbringen der Teilchen kommen verschiedene Technologien in Frage: Flugzeuge, Raketen, Kanonen oder in der Luft h\u00e4ngende R\u00f6hren.<\/p>\n<p>Die Forscher rechneten durch, was es kosten w\u00fcrde, etwa <strong>eine Millionen Tonnen Aerosol<\/strong> pro Jahr in H\u00f6hen von 18 bis 25 km in den Tropen, wo die einfallende Sonneneinstrahlung am gr\u00f6\u00dften ist, zwischen 30\u00b0 n\u00f6rdlicher und 30\u00b0 s\u00fcdlicher Breite auszubringen. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2012\/08\/120830191017.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Der Studie<\/a> zu Folge, sollte ein speziell entwickeltes <strong>Flugzeug<\/strong> eine der billigsten Variante sein. Sie w\u00fcrde etwa <strong>2 Milliarden US-Dollar<\/strong> kosten. Bei der Verwendung von Raketen und Kanonen fallen deutlich h\u00f6here Kosten an, weil diese nicht wiederverwendbar sind.<\/p>\n<p>Viel niedrigere Kosten k\u00f6nnten allerdings durch eine derzeit nur theoretisch verf\u00fcgbare Technologie anfallen: eine gigantische <strong>Gasr\u00f6hre<\/strong>, die vom Erdboden bis zu 20 km in die Atmosph\u00e4re reicht und die durch mit Helium gef\u00fcllte, in der Luft schwebende Plattformen gehalten wird &#8211; eine Technologie, die sich eher wie Science Fiction anh\u00f6rt.<\/p>\n<p>Abgesehen von den Kosten m\u00fcsste allerdings auch geforscht werden, welche Auswirkungen das Ausbringen von Aerosol noch haben kann. So k\u00f6nnten sich in vielen Regionen die <strong>Temperatur- und Niederschlagsverteilungen<\/strong> \u00e4ndern.
