{"id":592,"date":"2012-07-06T23:12:21","date_gmt":"2012-07-06T22:12:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=592"},"modified":"2014-12-18T21:28:46","modified_gmt":"2014-12-18T20:28:46","slug":"klimawandel-fordert-algenbluten-in-der-ostsee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/klimawandel-fordert-algenbluten-in-der-ostsee\/","title":{"rendered":"Klimawandel f\u00f6rdert Algenbl\u00fcten in der Ostsee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eine Forschergruppe unter der Leitung des <a href=\"http:\/\/www.io-warnemuende.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">Leibniz-Instituts f\u00fcr Ostseeforschung Warnem\u00fcnde<\/a> kommt in einer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/nclimate\/journal\/vaop\/ncurrent\/full\/nclimate1595.html\" target=\"_blank\">neuen Studie<\/a> zu dem Schluss, dass steigende Temperaturen in Zukunft vermehrt zu <strong>Blaualgen-Bl\u00fcten<\/strong> in der Ostsee f\u00fchren k\u00f6nnten.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 240px;\" title=\"Blaualgen\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/119193.jpg\" alt=\"Blaualgen\" width=\"240\" align=\"left\" hspace=\"5\" \/>Auch jetzt schon gibt es h\u00e4ufig Probleme mit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=237\">Algenbl\u00fcten<\/a> (bzw. Bl\u00fcten von <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cyanobakterien\" target=\"_blank\">Cyanobakterien<\/a>). Diese f\u00fchren regelm\u00e4\u00dfig zu bodennahem <strong>Sauerstoffmangel<\/strong> in gr\u00f6\u00dferen Gebieten der Ostsee, der wiederum eine Bedrohung f\u00fcr die <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=516\">Tier- und Pflanzenwelt<\/a> darstellt. Die Algenbl\u00fcten werden vor allem von eingebrachten <strong>D\u00fcngemitteln<\/strong> aus der Landwirtschaft verursacht, die gro\u00dfe Mengen an Phosphor und Stickstoff in die Ostsee bringen.<\/p>\n<p>Neben den D\u00fcngemitteln stellt aber offenbar auch die steigende <strong>Temperatur<\/strong> der Ostsee ein zus\u00e4tzliches Problem dar. Um den Einfluss der Temperatur auf das Algenwachstum abzusch\u00e4tzen, werteten die Forscher <strong>Sedimentbohrkerne <\/strong>aus dem Ostseeboden aus, die 1.000 Jahre in die Vergangenheit reichen. Dabei nutzten die Forscher ein neues Verfahren zur Auswertung der Bohrkerne, in dem ein Computermodell des \u00d6kosystems Ostsee zum Einsatz kam.<\/p>\n<p>Auch in der <strong>Mittelalterlichen Warmzeit<\/strong> gab es \u00e4hnlich hohe Temperaturen wie heute und ebenfalls verst\u00e4rktes Algenwachstum und Sauerstoffmangel. In der danach folgenden &#8220;Kleinen Eiszeit&#8221; sank die Temperatur der Ostsee im Mittel um 3 bis 4 Grad, gleichzeitig verbesserten sich die Umweltbedingungen, bevor sie sich im 19.
