Beobachtungsdaten zeigen, dass dadurch auch das <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=458\"><strong>Meereis<\/strong><\/a> deutlich st\u00e4rker schmilzt als fr\u00fcher. H\u00f6here Temperaturen und weniger Meereis f\u00fchren zu einem h\u00f6heren Feuchtegehalt in der arktischen Atmosph\u00e4re. Damit steigt auch die <strong>Tendenz zu st\u00e4rkeren Schneef\u00e4llen<\/strong> in den Regionen, die normalerweise wenig Schnee abbekommen, wie zum Beispiel im n\u00f6rdlichen Russland.<\/p>\n<p>Die Forscher fanden dementsprechend auch eine Zunahme der Schneebedeckung in Eurasien in den letzten 20 Jahren. Diese Zunahme der Schneebedeckung hat h\u00f6chstwahrscheinlich eine Ver\u00e4nderung der sogenannten <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arktische_Oszillation\" target=\"_blank\">Arktischen Oszillation<\/a> (AO) zur Folge, die dadurch l\u00e4nger als normal in einer &#8220;negativen Phase&#8221; verbleibt.<\/p>\n<p>Das bedeutet, dass sich in den arktischen Regionen l\u00e4ngere Zeit Hochdruckgebiete halten k\u00f6nnen, die kalte Luft in mittlere Breiten, also zum Beispiel nach Europa bef\u00f6rdern k\u00f6nnen. Die Globale Erw\u00e4rmung kann also regional und zeitlich begrenzt zur Abk\u00fchlung f\u00fchren.
