{"id":494,"date":"2011-11-06T00:41:10","date_gmt":"2011-11-05T23:41:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=494"},"modified":"2011-11-06T00:58:37","modified_gmt":"2011-11-05T23:58:37","slug":"klimaschadliche-biokraftstoffe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/klimaschadliche-biokraftstoffe\/","title":{"rendered":"Klimasch\u00e4dliche Biokraftstoffe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Britische Forscher der University of Leicester <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2011-11\/uol-nss110411.php\" target=\"_blank\">haben nachgerechnet<\/a>, wie viel Kohlendioxid bei der Produktion von <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=374\">Biodiesel<\/a> freigesetzt wird und dabei erstaunliche Ergebnisse gefunden. Der in Europa erh\u00e4ltliche Biodiesel wird zu gro\u00dfen Teilen aus <strong>Palm\u00f6l<\/strong> gewonnen. Dieses Palm\u00f6l stammt zumeist von <strong>Plantagen<\/strong> in S\u00fcdostasien.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/37732_web.jpg\" alt=\"Palm\u00f6lplantage\" title=\"Palm\u00f6lplantage\" align=\"left\" hspace=\"5\" width=\"270\" style=\"width: 270px\" \/>Diese Plantagen werden auf <strong>tropischem Torfland<\/strong> angelegt (siehe Bild links von J. Jauhiainen). Dieses Torfland ist jedoch ein gro\u00dfer Kohlenstoffspeicher. Weltweit ist in Torf mehr Kohlenstoff gebunden als in Tropischen Regenw\u00e4ldern.<\/p>\n<p>Dieser Kohlenstoff wird in Form von Kohlendioxid bei der Anlage und dem Betrieb der Palm\u00f6lplantagen durch den Abbau des Torfs freigesetzt. Die Forscher sch\u00e4tzen die freigesetzte Menge Kohlendioxid auf etwa <strong>86 Tonnen pro Hektar und Jahr<\/strong> (bei 50 Jahren Plantagenbetrieb).<\/p>\n<p>Bisherige Studien gingen von nur etwa 50 Tonnen aus. Setzt man nur etwa 20 Jahre Plantagenbetrieb an, kommt man sogar auf \u00fcber 100 Tonnen Kohlendioxid pro Hektar und Jahr. Der aus dem Palm\u00f6l gewonnene und dann verbrauchte Biodiesel verursacht damit <strong>mehr Kohlendioxid <\/strong><strong>als konventioneller Dieselkraftstoff<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>Bis zum Jahr 2020 werden allein im Westen Indonesiens voraussichtlich bis zu 2,5 Millionen Hektar Palm\u00f6lplantagen entstanden sein, eine Fl\u00e4che so gro\u00df wie Gro\u00dfbritannien. Indonesien wird dann \u00fcber <strong>200 Millionen Tonnen Kohlendioxid<\/strong> in die Luft blasen &#8211; Kohlendioxid, das allein f\u00fcr die Produktion von Biodiesel f\u00fcr die westliche Welt anf\u00e4llt, das aber Indonesien angerechnet wird, weil es dort entsteht.
