{"id":491,"date":"2011-10-29T00:02:21","date_gmt":"2011-10-28T23:02:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=491"},"modified":"2011-10-29T00:17:27","modified_gmt":"2011-10-28T23:17:27","slug":"neuer-wettersatellit-npp-gestartet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/neuer-wettersatellit-npp-gestartet\/","title":{"rendered":"Neuer Wettersatellit NPP gestartet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nach dem Start der <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=184\"><strong>geostation\u00e4ren Wettersatelliten<\/strong><\/a> GOES-O im Jahre 2009 und GOES-P im Jahre 2010 haben die US-amerikanische Atmosph\u00e4ren- und Ozeanbeh\u00f6rde NOAA und die NASA nun auch einen neuen <strong>polumlaufenden Satelliten<\/strong> namens NPP ins All gestartet.<\/p>\n<p>NPP steht f\u00fcr &#8220;NPOESS Preparatory Project&#8221;, der Satellit ist also eine Art Prototyp f\u00fcr das neue Satellitensystem namens &#8220;National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipo.noaa.gov\/index.php?pg=about&amp;tab=2\" target=\"blank\">NPOESS<\/a>). Der Satellitenstart wurde live im Internet \u00fcbertragen. Hier ist eine Aufzeichung zu sehen:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2cDSD60qSz0\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"300\" width=\"470\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend die NASA den Satelliten f\u00fcr Forschungszwecke nutzen wird, will die NOAA und damit der amerikanische Wetterdienst die gewonnenen Daten bereits ab <strong>Anfang 2012 operationell<\/strong> f\u00fcr die Wettervorhersage einsetzen. Im Gegensatz zu den geostation\u00e4ren Satelliten der <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Geostationary_Operational_Environmental_Satellite\" target=\"_blank\">GOES-Familie<\/a>, die in 35.786 km H\u00f6he in genau 24 Stunden um die Erde fliegen, und so folglich immer \u00fcber einem Punkt der Erdoberfl\u00e4che stehen, braucht NPP 102 Minuten f\u00fcr eine polumlaufende Erdumrundung in 824 km H\u00f6he und hat folgende Sensoren an Bord:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite<\/strong> (VIIRS): nimmt Bilder im sichtbaren und infraroten Spektralbereich des Lichtes auf. Damit k\u00f6nnen nicht nur die Wolkenentwicklung \u00fcberwacht werden, sondern zum Beispiel auch Vegetationsbedeckung auf dem Land, Phytoplankton im Meer und die Eisbedeckung.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ozone Mapper Profiler Suite<\/strong> (OMPS): kartiert den Ozongehalt in der Atmosph\u00e4re und kann vertikale Profile der Ozonkonzentration erstellen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clouds and Earth\u00e2EURTMs Radiant Energy System<\/strong> (CERES): \u00fcberwacht die Energiebilanz an der Atmosph\u00e4renobergrenze, also das Verh\u00e4ltnis von einfallender und ausgehender Strahlung.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cross-track Infrared Sounder<\/strong> (CrIS): misst die f\u00fcr die Wettervorhersage und Klimaforschung wichtigen vertikalen Temperaturprofile in hoher Aufl\u00f6sung<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder<\/strong> (ATMS): erstellt zusammen mit dem CrIS Vertikalprofile von Druck, W\u00e4rmeenergie und Feuchte.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nach dem Start der geostation\u00e4ren Wettersatelliten GOES-O im Jahre 2009 und GOES-P im Jahre 2010 haben die US-amerikanische Atmosph\u00e4ren- und Ozeanbeh\u00f6rde NOAA und die NASA nun auch einen neuen polumlaufenden Satelliten namens NPP ins&#46;&#46;&#46;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-491","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.5 -
