Das haben Forscher aus D\u00e4nemark und Norwegen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-018-19992-w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">herausgefunden<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Die Wissenschaftler nutzen f\u00fcr Ihre Untersuchung Daten des amerikanische <a href=\"https:\/\/terra.nasa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TERRA<\/a>-Satelliten, um die Temperaturen nahe der Erdoberfl\u00e4che in etwa einem F\u00fcnftel der Fl\u00e4che Gr\u00f6nlands, das nicht von Eis bedeckt ist auszuwerten. In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=496\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gr\u00f6nland<\/a> gibt es 45 offizielle <strong>Wetterstationen<\/strong> des D\u00e4nischen Meteorologischen Institut (DMI). Die Satellitendaten erlauben es, die L\u00fccken zwischen den bestehenden Wetterstationen zu schlie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<p>Die folgende Abbildung zeigt die <strong>Temperaturtrends in Gr\u00f6nland<\/strong> in den verschiedenen Jahreszeiten im Zeitraum 2001 bis 2015 (auf das Bild klicken f\u00fcr eine gro\u00dfe Version). Besonders im Herbst (September bis November) zeigt sich eine <strong>deutliche Abk\u00fchlung<\/strong>. Mit Hilfe der <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=1839\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Satellitendaten<\/a>\u00a0k\u00f6nnen Temperaturen so auch an abgelegenen Orten mit gro\u00dfen L\u00fccken im Wetterstatiosnetz ohne gr\u00f6\u00dferen Aufwand bestimmt werden. Dies ist zum Beispiel in Sibirien oder Afrika sehr n\u00fctzlich.<\/p>\n<p>Die aktuelle Studie pr\u00e4sentiert nur Daten f\u00fcr die eisfreien R\u00e4nder von Gr\u00f6nland, aber die Methode kann \u00fcberall verwendet werden, auch auf der Eisdecke. Wetterstationen k\u00f6nnen f\u00fcr einen Standort \u00fcber viele Jahre hinweg eine sehr hohe <strong>zeitliche Aufl\u00f6sung<\/strong> liefern.
