Doch bisher war es nur f\u00fcr Europa und Afrika m\u00f6glich, die vollst\u00e4ndigen Daten beider Satelliten zu empfangen. Ausgefeilte <strong>Laser-Technologie<\/strong> an Bord der Satelliten erlaubt es ab Dezember, weltweit die vollst\u00e4ndigen Daten zu empfangen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/EDRS.jpeg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2045\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/EDRS.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"293\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/EDRS.jpeg 869w, https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/EDRS-600x338.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/EDRS-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/EDRS-768x433.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Die Technik nennt sich &#8220;<strong>EDRS<\/strong>&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.esa.int\/Our_Activities\/Telecommunications_Integrated_Applications\/EDRS\/Overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Data Relay Satellites<\/a>). Mit Hilfe von\u00a0Laser-Strahlen werden die Daten direkt von den polumlaufenden Satelliten Sentinel-2A und -2B an einen\u00a0geostation\u00e4ren Satelliten \u00fcbertragen und von dort dann an eine <strong>Bodenstation<\/strong> weitergeleitet.<\/p>\n<p>Dabei wird der Laserstrahl von den Sentinel-Satelliten auf einer Entfernung von bis zu <strong>36.000 Kilometern<\/strong> hochgenau auf den feststehenden Satelliten ausgerichtet und nachgef\u00fchrt, eine Meisterleistung, die vom Deutschen Zentrum f\u00fcr Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) entwickelt wurde.\u00a0Dies ist das erste Mal, dass eine solche \u00dcbertragungstechnik <strong>operationell<\/strong> f\u00fcr Erdbeobachtungssatelliten eingesetzt wird. Testweise war dieses Verfahren bereits zu Demonstrationszwecken von der franz\u00f6sischen Raumfahrtbeh\u00f6rde CNES mit dem Satelliten <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esa.int\/Our_Activities\/Navigation\/Perfect_images_transmitted_via_a_laser_link_between_Artemis_and_SPOT_4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SPOT4<\/a> im Einsatz.<\/p>\n<p>Sentinel-2B wird diese Technik jetzt als erster Satellit im Dauereinsatz nutzen. Damit bekommen nun auch alle Nutzer au\u00dferhalb Afrikas und Europas in den Genuss der vollst\u00e4ndigen Daten der beiden Sentinel-2-Satelliten und die Chancen steigen, wolkenfreie Beobachtungen zu erhalten. Die Sentinel-2-Satelliten nehmen Bilder in <strong>13 Spektralkan\u00e4len<\/strong> mit einer Aufl\u00f6sung bis zu <strong>10 Metern<\/strong> auf.
