Das haben Forscher der University of California Santa Barbara in einer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2017\/07\/170705164555.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aktuellen Studie<\/a> herausgefunden.<\/p>\n<p>Der &#8220;<strong>Ocean Health Index<\/strong>&#8221; wird verwendet, um die Gesundheit des Ozeans auf lokaler und regionaler Ebene zu beurteilen. Der Index ber\u00fccksichtigt Faktoren wie Artenvielfalt, K\u00fcstenschutz und die Sauberkeit des Wassers und erlaubt es, die Gesundheit der Meere an jedem Punkt der Erde ein vergleichbare Weise zu \u00fcberwachen. Aus den Informationen sollen Ma\u00dfnahmen auf regionaler Ebene abgeleitet werden. Je blauer die Farbe, desto ges\u00fcnder ist die Meer.<\/p>\n<p>Wie erwartet, hat sich global gemittelt die Gesundheit der Ozeane in den letzten f\u00fcnf Jahren nur <strong>unwesentlich verschlechtert<\/strong>, da sich die Weltmeere nicht \u00fcber einen relativ kurzen Zeitraum \u00e4ndern. Allerdings gab es in den einzelnen L\u00e4ndern deutliche Ver\u00e4nderungen.<\/p>\n<p>Zum Beispiel verschlechterte sich in vielen <strong>arktischen und subarktischen<\/strong> L\u00e4ndern der Zustand der Ozeane, m\u00f6glicherweise weil der Verlust von Meereis zu einem verminderten K\u00fcstenschutz gef\u00fchrt hat. Die Forscher vermuten, dass Verbesserungen beim Fischerei-Management, die Schaffung von marinen Schutzgebieten und die Beschr\u00e4nkung des Fischfangs zur Verbesserung der Gesundheit des Ozeans in anderen Regionen gef\u00fchrt haben.<\/p>\n<p>Da der Ocean Health Index in der Lage ist, kurzfristige Ver\u00e4nderungen in der globalen Gesundheit der Ozeane vorhersagen zu k\u00f6nnen, schlagen die Autoren vor, dass Investitionen in zus\u00e4tzliche Ressourcen zur Messung von Ver\u00e4nderungen auf globaler Ebene bei der Bew\u00e4ltigung und dem Schutz der Gesundheit der Ozeane jetzt und in der Zukunft sehr helfen w\u00fcrden.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Global gesehen hat sich die Gesundheit der Ozeane in den vergangenen f\u00fcnf Jahren nicht wesentlich ver\u00e4ndert, in den k\u00e4lteren Regionen sind jedoch Verschlechterungen zu verzeichnen.
