Diesmal sollen die Modell aber nicht die <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=121\">Globale Erw\u00e4rmung \u00fcbersch\u00e4tzen<\/a>, sondern das Gegenteil ist der Fall. Der Ozeanograph und Professor an der Rice University Gerald Dickens hat mit Kollegen die Daten von <strong>Tiefseebohrungen <\/strong>der letzten 20 Jahre <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2009\/07\/090714124956.htm\" target=\"_blank\">ausgewertet<\/a>. Hunderte dieser Bohrkerne aus allen Ozeanen zeigen \u00fcbereinstimmende Ergebnisse.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/01\/080104091616jpg.jpeg\" title=\"Sonne\" alt=\"Sonne\" width=\"230\" align=\"left\" hspace=\"5\" \/>Aus bisher unbekannten Gr\u00fcnden stieg vor etwa 55 Millionen Jahren w\u00e4hrend des sogenannten <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pal%C3%A4oz%C3%A4n\/Eoz%C3%A4n-Temperaturmaximum\" target=\"_blank\">Pal\u00e4oz\u00e4n\/Eoz\u00e4n-Temperaturmaximums<\/a> (PETM) der <strong>Kohlendioxid<\/strong>-Gehalt der Atmosph\u00e4re drastisch an. Mit Hilfe von Analysen des S\u00e4ure- und Kohlenstoffgehaltes der Bohrkerne konnten die Forscher ausrechnen, dass diese Zunahme w\u00e4hrend der PETM-Periode etwa <strong>70 Prozent<\/strong> betragen haben muss. Gleichzeitig stiegen die Temperaturen auf der Erde um beachtliche <strong>7 Grad<\/strong> innerhalb einer Zeitspanne von 10.000 Jahren.<\/p>\n<p>Eine solch starke Temperaturerh\u00f6hung kann mit den derzeitigen Klimamodellen gar nicht erkl\u00e4rt werden. Die Modelle berechnen nur etwa <strong>die H\u00e4lfte der Erw\u00e4rmung<\/strong>. Es muss also zumindest vor 55 Millionen Jahren noch weitere <strong>R\u00fcckkopplungen <\/strong>geben haben, die damals die Globale Erw\u00e4rmung drastisch verst\u00e4rkten.
