Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass das Klima weniger Schwankungen aufweist, je h\u00f6her die Temperatur ist. Bei mittleren Temperaturen\u00a0innerhalb einer Eiszeit zeigt sich das Klima\u00a0besonders instabil und weist starke Temperaturschwankungen auf.<\/p>\n<p>Eine Klimasimulation auf der Basis eines\u00a0gekoppelten Atmosph\u00e4re-Ozean-Modells zeigt, dass die Hauptursache f\u00fcr die beobachtete <strong>Klimainstabilit\u00e4t<\/strong> h\u00f6chstwahrscheinlich\u00a0eine <strong>globale Abk\u00fchlung<\/strong> durch den\u00a0R\u00fcckgang des Treibhauseffekts ist.<\/p>\n<p>Die folgende Abbildung zeigt die Beziehung zwischen der <strong>H\u00e4ufigkeit der Klimaschwankungen<\/strong> (y-Achse) mit den <strong>Temperaturen in der Antarktis<\/strong> (x-Achse) aus der Analyse des antarktischen Eisbohrkernes (schwarze Punkte) sowie f\u00fcr die letzte\u00a0Eiszeit auf der Grundlage von Eisbohrkernen aus Gr\u00f6nland (rote Quadrate) (Quelle: Dome Fuji Ice Core Project).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/climate-instability.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1882\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/climate-instability.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"486\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/climate-instability.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/climate-instability-600x571.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/climate-instability-300x286.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/climate-instability-768x731.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/climate-instability-1024x975.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend der <strong>Warmzeit<\/strong> (rot hinterlegter Bereich)\u00a0sowie des <strong>k\u00e4ltesten Teils einer Eiszeit<\/strong> (dunkelblau hinterlegt) war die H\u00e4ufigkeit der Klimaschwankungen\u00a0gering. Im mittleren Bereich (hellblau hinterlegt) w\u00e4hrend der <strong>gem\u00e4\u00dfigten Perioden<\/strong> innerhalb einer Eiszeit traten h\u00e4ufig Klimaschwankungen\u00a0auf und das Klima war instabil.<\/p>\n<p>Die\u00a0Klimasimulation zeigt <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=1735\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ozeanstr\u00f6mungen<\/strong><\/a> als die wahrscheinliche Ursache f\u00fcr die\u00a0Klimainstabilit\u00e4t. Die\u00a0atlantischen Tiefenwasserzirkulation ist stark davon abh\u00e4ngig, wie viel S\u00fc\u00dfwasser im\u00a0Norden in den Atlantik gelangt. K\u00fchlt sich das Klima durch die Abnahme der\u00a0Kohlendioxidkonzentration ab, gelangt weniger S\u00fc\u00dfwasser in den Nordatlantik, die Meeresstr\u00f6mung ger\u00e4t ins Stocken.<\/p>\n<p>Bisher wurde vor allem die\u00a0Instabilit\u00e4t von kontinentalen <strong>Eisschilden<\/strong> der n\u00f6rdlichen Hemisph\u00e4re als Ursache f\u00fcr die Klimaschwankungen angesehen.
