Ein interdisziplin\u00e4res Team aus Forschern der Universit\u00e4ten Miami und Costa Rica hat jetzt erstmals globale Klima- und Vegatationsdaten genutzt, um ein <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2009\/06\/090605171244.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Modell zu entwickeln<\/a>, dass <strong>Ausbr\u00fcche von Dengue-Fieber<\/strong> in Costa Rica modelliert.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Gelbfieberm\u00fccke\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/aedes_aegypti_cdc-gathany.jpg\" alt=\"Gelbfieberm\u00fccke\" width=\"250\" align=\"left\" hspace=\"5\" \/>Das Modell kann Epidemien mit einer <strong>Trefferquote von 83%<\/strong> bis zu <strong>40 Wochen im Voraus<\/strong> vorhersagen und liefert dabei auch Daten zum Ausma\u00df der Epidemie. Das Modell kann f\u00fcr ganz Lateinamerika und die Karibik genutzt werden. So soll in der Zukunft ein <strong>Fr\u00fchwarnsystem <\/strong>f\u00fcr die Region aufgebaut werden. Hier gab es in den letzten 25 Jahren immer h\u00e4ufiger Dengue-Fieber-Epidemien.<\/p>\n<p>Wichtige Parameter bei der Berechnung m\u00f6glicher Epedemien sind Variablen, die die <strong>Mosquito-Population<\/strong> beeinflussen (oben im Bild die Gelbfieberm\u00fccke, die das Dengue-Fieber \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt). Solche Variablen sind Wassertemperatur, Vegetation, Verdunstung und Luftfeuchte in Bodenn\u00e4he. Die Forscher waren \u00fcberrascht, dass sogar die <strong>Meeresoberfl\u00e4chentemperaturen im Pazifik<\/strong>, die mit dem <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/El_Nino\" target=\"_blank\">El-Nino-Ph\u00e4nomen<\/a> verbunden sind, Auswirkungen auf Dengue-Fieber-Epedemien hatten.<\/p>\n<p>Vor kurzem hatten Wissenschaftler bereits herausgefunden, dass steigende Temperaturen die <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/?p=155\">Entwicklung gef\u00e4hrlicher Tierseuchen<\/a> wie der <strong>Blauzungenkrankheit<\/strong> f\u00f6rdert, die auch von M\u00fccken \u00fcbertragen werden.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Das Dengue-Fieber ist eine nicht ungef\u00e4hrliche Virusinfektion, an der jedes Jahr etwa 50 bis 100 Millionen Menschen vor allem in den tropischen Regionen der Erde erkranken.
