Dies k\u00f6nnte was erhebliche Auswirkungen auf das Klima und die Gesellschaft insbesondere in Europa haben. Klassische Fr\u00fchwarnsignale wie Varianz und Autokorrelation zeigen in einigen Regionen Anzeichen einer kritischen Verlangsamung, insbesondere entlang des 34. Breitengrades auf der S\u00fcdhalbkugel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Studie verwendete Daten aus Klimamodellen und Reanalysen, um die Wahrscheinlichkeit und den Zeitpunkt eines AMOC-Kollapses zu sch\u00e4tzen. Die Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass die Wahrscheinlichkeit eines AMOC-Kollapses vor dem Jahre 2100 in bisherigen Modellierungen und Berichten des Weltklimarates <strong>IPCC <\/strong>m\u00f6glicherweise untersch\u00e4tzt wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Hauptursache f\u00fcr einen m\u00f6glichen Kollaps der Atlantischen Meridionalen Umw\u00e4lzstr\u00f6mung (AMOC) ist eng mit dem menschengemachten <strong>Klimawandel<\/strong> verbunden. Das Schmelzwasser der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/satelliten-erkunden-eis-von-groenland\/\">Gletscher auf Gr\u00f6nland<\/a> f\u00fchrt zu einem erh\u00f6hten S\u00fc\u00dfwassereintrag in den Nordatlantik.\u00a0S\u00fc\u00dfwasser ist weniger dicht als Salzwasser und st\u00f6rt die Tiefenwasserbildung, die ein wesentlicher Antrieb der AMOC ist. \u00c4hnlich wie das Schmelzwasser aus Gr\u00f6nland tragen auch erh\u00f6hte Niederschl\u00e4ge und Flusswasser zur Verd\u00fcnnung des salzhaltigen Meerwassers bei, was die Str\u00f6mung weiter schw\u00e4cht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eine aktuelle Studie der Universit\u00e4t Utrecht kommt zu dem Schluss, dass die Atlantische Meridionale Umw\u00e4lzstr\u00f6mung (AMOC), zudem auch der Golfstrom geh\u00f6rt, in diesem Jahrhundert zusammenbrechen k\u00f6nnte.
