Haben sie doch einen atemberaubenden Blick auf unseren Planeten, wie einmal mehr das folgende Foto beweist, das am 29. Oktober 2008 mit einer <strong>Nikon D2Xs Digital-Kamera<\/strong> mit 800-mm-Teleobjektiv aufgenommen wurde.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wetter-center.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/iss018-e-06051.jpg\" title=\"Deriba Caldera, Sudan\" alt=\"Deriba Caldera, Sudan\" width=\"470\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Eine gro\u00dfe Version des Bildes gibt es auf <a href=\"http:\/\/earthobservatory.nasa.gov\/images\/imagerecords\/36000\/36098\/ISS018-E-06051_lrg.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\">der NASA-Website<\/a>. Das Foto zeigt den <strong>Kraterrand <\/strong>des vor etwa 3.500 Jahren explodierten Vulkans Jebel Marra im Sudan, die sogenannte <strong>Deribel Caldera<\/strong>. Der Durchmesser dieses Kraters betr\u00e4gt etwa 5 km. Der 3.042 m hohe Vulkan gilt heute noch als aktiv.<\/p>\n<p>Man erkennt zwei Kraterseen. Der obere ist selbst ein eigener, <strong>kleinerer Krater<\/strong>, der durch Hebungsprozesse und erneute kleinere Eruptionen entstanden ist. Die beiden Seen sind <strong>\u00fcbrigens verschieden hoch<\/strong> gelegen.
